Patanjali International Yoga Foundation (PIYF) is a registered non profit residential yoga organization spreading the awareness of Ancient Yoga, Ayurveda, Vedic wisdom and holistic living. Located in the lap of Himalayas, Patanjali International Yoga Foundation offers Yoga Teacher Training courses, yoga theraphy, ayurveda courses, yoga and ayurved retreats in Rishikesh.
PIYF was established in 2001 to hold and research on ancient yoga which source is the noble sage Patanjali. The main motto of the organization is to teach not only physical health but also mental, spiritual health. Situated on the banks of river Ganga in Tapovan Rishikesh, the organization is registered under the Indian Government and International association with Yoga Alliance USA and Canadian Yoga Alliance Canada.

- The foundation provides well clean and comfortable rooms for the guests and visitors visiting the Ashram or in the Retreat Centre.
- Rooms in the Ashrams and Retreat Centre are provided on a single and shared basis with an attached washroom and hot water.
- Visitors and guests are provided with clean bed sheets and towels once a week in the Ashram or in the Retreat Centre.
- For daily use, a kettle, iron and hair dryer are provided on each floor on a shared basis.

By Rail : Rishikesh has a rail station, but it is only served by one rail at the moment. The best option is to take the rail to Haridwar, which is only about 30 minutes from Rishikesh, and then continue by road. Many rails run from and to Delhi, Varanasi, Rajasthan, Amritsar, and other cities. The rails ride from Delhi takes about 5 to 7 hours.
By Bus : Every hour, buses to Rishikesh depart from the Kashmiri Gate National Bus Stand in New Delhi. The bus ride lasts between 7 and 9 hours.
