There is two Law campuses of the HNB Garhwal University since the inception of the State University. Law classes (LL.B.) began in the campuses during 1976-77. During the year 1977, the campuses was declared by the state Government as BGR Campus, Pauri Garhwal and SRT Campus, Badshahi Thual, Tehri Garhwal. LL.M. (Two Year) self finance Course was started in the campuses in the Year 2006.
Courses offered:
- LL.B. (Three Years Course in Semester system)
- B.A.LL.B. (Five Years Course in only self finance colleges Affiliated to the University).
- LL.M. (Two Years self finance Course)
Mode of Admission & Eligibility
University conducts the Admission entrance test for both the courses LL.B. & LL.M. For this purpose advertisements are displayed in the News papers.For LL.B. entrance test, the minimum percentage of marks must not be below 45% of the total marks in case of general category applicants and 40% of the total marks in case of SC and ST applicants in the qualifying graduation examination.
