English department was established in the year 1973. Spread – over into three Campuses of Pauri, Tehri and Srinagar, it is, in the subject, the principal seat of teaching and research in whole of Uttarakhand. In view of the number of the students and the Researchers, it is the biggest department in the University. The Placement of the Post Graduate and M. Phil, as well as D.Phil. scholars has been 100% over the years.
