The Uttarakhand Utthan Samiti has decided to start an educational institute under the name "Dev Bhoomi Institute of Management Studies" formaly known as Dev Bhoomi Institute of Applied Sciences or DBIAS at Dehradun in its own to impart education with the key note "A career building is just not restricted to impart knowledge for commercial, or professional purpose, but to educate a person related to all streams of life which will establish a harmony between the student, the future of the country and the society”. Dev Bhoomi Institute of Management Studies was established in 2008.
Dev Bhoomi Institute of Management Studies is located in a serene environment, in the picturesque location of the lower Himalayas with a salubrious climate, about 15 Km from Dehradun city, off Chakrata Road. The sprawling campus is spread over more than 250 Bighas of land.
Dev Bhoomi Institute of Management Studies institute is governed by a dedicated team of distinguished educationists, eminent scholars, administrators, management and technical experts and industrialists. The institute has excellent faculty with both academic and industrial experience from premier organizations and also invites experts as a part of guest faculty from reputed institutes and industries to lecture on specific subjects. Institute also organizes seminars and workshops to bridge the gap that the traditional teaching leaves.
