Situated in the Bageshwar district of Uttarakhand, Nanda Khat is a spectacular peak with an elevation of 6,611 meters. Nanda Khat is located left of Pindari glacier & Traill’s pass. The majestic Nanda Devi (7816 mts) stands to its north with west ridge adjoining Mt. Panwali Dwar (6,663 mts).
HISTORY
Mt. Nanda Khat was first climbed it in the year 1931 by Huge Ruttledge, Sri PN Choudhary & porter Pan Singh.In 1972, Anup Sah from Nainital, Uttarakhand led the first Indian ascent on Nanda Khat.
