Kainchi Dham was established by a great saint Shri Neem Karoli Baba in 1960s at Kainchi village on Nainital-Almora road. It's a holy temple and ashram surrounded by hills and trees and a river flowing besides it. 

Neeb Karori Baba who is more popularly known as Neem Karoli Baba is revered by thousands of devotees who throng from various parts of the country. The "Tuesday" visits are considered more sacred.

Kainchi Dham - Neem Karoli Baba Ashram

Nestled amidst the picturesque landscape of Uttarakhand, Kainchi Dham stands as a spiritual sanctuary and a haven of tranquility. In 70s Steve Jobs (Ex CEO of Apple) once visited and meditated in this temple and Mark Zuckerberg (CEO of Facebook) also visited this place. On 15th June every year a fair is organized by ashram which is famous among locals and tourists.

In last years, famous crickter Virat Kohli and Actress Anushka Sharma also visited the Kainchi Dham Temple.

The best time to visit is during the summer months (April to June) and autumn (September to November) when the weather is pleasant.

Staying in Kainchi Dham

Devotees are welcome to stay at the Neem Karoli Baba Ashram, but prior intimation is required so that the authorities can arrange accommodation. Visitors are allowed to stay for a maximum of three days.

Most devotees choose to stay in hotels in Nainital or Bhowali Hotels, or in accommodations outside the ashram, visiting the Kainchi Dham temples during the day.
