Kainchi Dham was established by a great saint Shri Neem Karoli Baba in 1960s at Kainchi village on Nainital-Almora road. It's a holy temple and ashram surrounded by hills and trees and a river flowing besides it. 

Neeb Karori Baba who is more popularly known as Neem Karoli Baba is revered by thousands of devotees who throng from various parts of the country. The "Tuesday" visits are considered more sacred.

Kainchi Dham - Neem Karoli Baba Ashram

Nestled amidst the picturesque landscape of Uttarakhand, Kainchi Dham stands as a spiritual sanctuary and a haven of tranquility. This sacred pilgrimage site, located near Nainital, is renowned for the ashram dedicated to the revered saint Neem Karoli Baba. It is located in between two hills that cut and cross each other to create a shape of scissor. That's why this place is called as "Kainchi Dham". On September 10, 1973 baba got Samadhi in Virandhawan.

In 70s Steve Jobs (Ex CEO of Apple) once visited and meditated in this temple and Mark Zuckerberg (CEO of Facebook) also visited this place. On 15th June every year a fair is organized by ashram which is famous among locals and tourists.

Recently famous crickter Virat Kohli and Actress Anushka Sharma also visited the Kainchi Dham Temple.

The best time to visit is during the summer months (April to June) and autumn (September to November) when the weather is pleasant.

Cricketer Suresh Raina reached Kainchi Dham, took blessings of Baba

Raina obtained information related to Baba from the officials of the temple committee. He also said that he got immense peace after taking blessings of Baba at Kainchi Dham. Raina said that his faith in Baba brought him to Kainchi Dham. Seeing Suresh Raina in the temple, devotees and local shopkeepers took selfies and photos with him.

Former Indian cricket team bowler RP Singh visited Baba Neem Karauli

Crickter RP Singh was welcomed by the Nainital District Cricket Association at the GNG Cricket Arena. RP Singh stayed in Rudrapur for the first two days and then reached Haldwani on Monday. After the Haldwani program, he left for the famous Kainchi Dham in the evening.

Kainchi Dham hosts numerous religious events and festivals throughout the year, with the most significant being the Neem Karoli Baba's Bhandara, held annually on June 15th. Staying in Kainchi Dham

Devotees are welcome to stay at the Neem Karoli Baba Ashram, but prior intimation is required so that the authorities can arrange accommodation. Visitors are allowed to stay for a maximum of three days.

Q. I, Jainath Prasad Sah with my wife sudha devi sah, Nepalese from Janakpur Nepal wish to visit kaichidham. I have planing to visit 22/08/2024. I need to stay temple guest house or in the temple area. Please allowed us to stay for one day 22 August over there.
A. A letter of introduction and prior arrangement with the ashram are a must if you wish to stay in this impeccable ashram. If you are wishing to stay inside any of Maharaji ji Ashram, you must first write to the manager and request permission for your stay at kainchidham@gmail.com. Generally people are allowed to stay for a maximum of three days. You need a reference note from one of the older devotees and you can send it along with your request to stay and a picture of yourself to respective Ashrams email.
