The work of the Directorate of Departmental Accounts, Uttarakhand is to serve Employees of the State Government the benefit of pension by issuing the PPO (Pension Pradhikar Patra) . On 1st October 2005, New Pension Scheme was implemented by the Directorate of the state. Under this, VPD(Vittiya Pramarsh data) office was established in each district of the state.
