The tourism department of Uttarakhand is going to organized an event name MTB Challenge. Last year it was held on 27th October, that was a great experience for all the participants and audience.
Over the past head this race is growing immensely and has followed from all across the world. Mountain Biking is also exploring the foothills of Himalayas and also give an example to understand the challenges that mountain lives have.
Uttarakhand MTB Challenge 2016 - IInd Edition
This event will starts from 9th April 2016 to 16th April 2016. All formalities is almost done. The starting point for biking is Nainital and it will end at Mussoorie the queen of hills. Rest of the activities like prize distribution etc. will be held at Dehradun.
It will be a 9 days events that covers many areas of Uttarakhand like Nainital, Almora, Bageshwar, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Tehri, Uttarkashi & Dehradun are main districts. This race will be one of the longest race of Asia.

Eligibility Criteria For MTB Challenges
- Participants must have a valid license issued by Cycling Federation of India for elite Cyclist.
- Participants Should be in possession of a MTB cycle as per specification of UCI.
- Must have participated in National or State championship.
- The Local riders should obtain their rider license from CFI by application duly submitted on line.
