The Uttarakhand government has issued an order to collect the entire fees from the students of all classes above the fifth. The government has asked private schools to consider the fees in installments with due consideration. Education Secretary R.K. Meenakshi Sundaram on Monday released GO for the fees. Schools in Uttarakhand will be able to collect the entire fees from the date on which they are duly opened. Currently only tuition fees will be charged from first to fifth grade students. It may be known that earlier only full fees were being charged from students of class 10 and 12.
These classes in Uttarakhand schools were opened from November 2, 2020. From February 8, the government has also opened classes VI to XI. PMSA President Prem Kashyap welcomed the government's decision. He said that the Supreme Court has already given instructions in this regard. Parents who will not be able to pay the fees together can apply for the concession. The school principal may allow them to pay fees in installments.
The government had decided to open the school from 8th to 6th of February. Government schools in Uttarakhand were opened from this day. While many private schools in Uttarakhand started schools after some time. Fee collection will be valid from the day of commencement of offline studies in the school.
