Graphic Era University takes forward its efforts to connect education with technology by joining hands with Amazon. Now Graphic Era University has become the India's first and largest future ready gen AI campus. For this, an agreement was signed between Graphic Era University and Amazon.
On this occasion, the program was organized at the Silver Jubilee Convention Center of Graphic Era University in Dehradun. Dr. Kamal Ghanshala, Chairman of Graphic Era Group of Institutions, while addressing the program, said that with the collaboration of the world famous company Amazon, Graphic Era will take forward its efforts to connect education with technology. This co-partnership will connect the students with new technologies and will also help them in getting better opportunities in the industry.
Chairman Dr. Kamal Ghanshala said that Graphic Era University will introduce five new subjects related to Artificial Intelligence in the curriculum of Computer Science and Engineering students. In this, the subjects of Fundamentals of Machine Learning, NLP, Deep Learning, Computer Vision and Generative Adversarial Network will be added to the courses of students from three to five semesters. For this, Graphic Era is also training teachers. These courses will be started soon.
Under this agreement, students will be able to do more than 700 online courses on Amazon Web Services. In this, along with training and certification in leading technologies like Generative AI, Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, facility of practical lab will also be available.
The program was attended by Sumita Gupta, India Lead Education and Skills, Amazon Web Services, Dr. D.R., Dean Academics, Graphic Era Deemed University. Gangodkar, Dr. Devesh Pratap Singh, HOD of Computer Science and Engineering Department, Dr. Dibyash Bordoloi, HOD of Computer Science and Engineering Department of Graphic Era Hill University, teachers and hundreds of students were present.
