Chachandu is a famous traditional cuisine of Uttarakhand made with buttermilk and Jhangora (Barnyard Millet). Its very easy to cook, easy to digest and very healthy.

Ingredients for Chhachhindu
- Jhangora - 2 cups
- Buttermilk - 600 ml
Chachindu Recipe
- Add Jhangora to boiling water and cook for 5 minutes
- Mix Buttermilk and cook for more minutes
- Serve with Gud (for sweetness) or Pahadi namak/ Dal.
