B Pharm Course in DIT Faculty of Pharmacy
The academic programme for B.Pharm course includes origin, scope and ethics in Pharmaceutical science, the structure and functions of the human body, Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Analysis of Medicines and Dosage forms, formulation of various dosage forms, study of medicinal plants and animals, Advance Pharmacology, Novel Drug Delivery Systems, Methods to Practice Pharmacy, various strategies for Pharmaceutical marketing, recent advances in Pharmaceutical industry, etc.
Course Details
Eligibility : Should have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) Examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and Biology / Mathematics/Bio Technology/Computer Science and English as subjects of study with at least 50% marks for the General category and 45% marks for the SC/ST/OBC candidates. Those appearing in 10+2 may also apply.

Admission Procedure in B Pharma
Admission to B.Pharm may be made through Uttarakhand State Entrance Examination. Admission to 85% of the total seats (50% Uttarakhand and 35% All India) would be made through State level counseling conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun. The basis of the counseling is merit of the rank obtained by the candidate in the Uttarakhand State Entrance Examination.
Reservation policy would be as per Government norms
15 % Management admissions would be made directly by institute by conducting Institute level counseling based on the merit of UKSEE rank. For Management category admissions, candidates need to get themselves registered in the institute.
Seats for Foreign national/ People of Indian Origin
Out of total seats, 5% seats are reserved for FN and PIO candidates which are filled up strictly as per norms of AICTE i.e. by FN and PIO who have passed the qualifying examination with Physics and Chemistry as aompulsory subjects and biology/mathematics/biotechnology/computer science and English as subjects of study with at least 50 % marks form amn institute situated outside India which is considered equivalent to 10+2 examination by Association of Indian Universities, India.
