Tulga Village is located in the middle of Kalga and Pulga in Himachal Pradesh’s Parvati Valley. Tulga and Pulga are separated by Kalga by a stream, so Pulga and Tulga lie on the same side of the mountain. Tulga is less inhabited than the surrounding villages and has very few houses. The golden fields and snow-covered mountains coupled with the setting sun make a picture-perfect frame.
The residents of Tulga are happy in living a life with fewer tourists and have the place to themselves. The stay options are close to none in Tulga. After seeing the influx of non-native people in the surrounding villages, they are happy living a simple lifestyle.
Kheerganga: It is also accessible from Tosh. You can start for Kheerganga in the morning and reach by evening stay the night and come down the next day.
Kutla: It is a high-altitude meadow surrounded by forests on all sides and offers views of the snow-covered ranges of the Parvati valley. Kutla is situated 3 kilometers from Tosh. It takes around an hour to reach Kutla from Tosh.
Animal Pass/Sara Umga La: It is a difficult trek that starts from the Tosh village and crosses over to Lahaul on the other side of the Tosh Glacier. Peaks like Papsura, Indrasan are visible during this trek.
Buddhaban: Buddhaban is a grassland situated one hour away from Kutla and is on the way to Animal Pass or Sara Umga la Trek. So you can visit Buddhaban if you are going to Kutla from Tosh and plan on spending the night at Kutla.
Tulga is about 20 minutes from Kalga which lies at 2.9km (10-12 minutes) from Barshaini. There are no motorable roads to Pulga, Tulga or Kalga. You can only reach here by a short trek of 4 km.
