Tiger Falls is a major tourist attraction located near cantonment town Chakrata. Visitors can enjoy a rejuvenating bath below the 50 mtrs waterfall which converges in a small pond. Surrounded by the dense forest, gushing water enchants loudly in-between the hills.
Tiger Falls is still far away from casual visitors, since it is not developed yet. But trekkers and travellers finds it a peaceful as well as enthralling experience to visit Tiger Falls.
For the adventure types, there is a trek route which will take you from Chakrata to the Tiger waterfalls. The trek is an easy one and is barely a 5 kms. The trek commences from the Chakrata taxi stand near the cantonment and takes one downhill through few hamlets, lush green fields and offer spellbinding view of the snow-clad mountains.
Tiger Falls is located in Near Dehradun in Chakrata ( 1 km downhill trek from road).
Travellers can take a easy trek of 5 kms from Chakrata to reach Tiger Falls or hire a cab from Chakrata to get closer by 1 km from the waterfall. As the place is remote, frequent vehicles are unavailable. Nearest railway station is Dehradun railway station (86 kms) and airport at Jolly Grant Airport (116 kms).
