Tamri Kund is situated approximately 10 kilometers before the town of Munsiyari. A well-defined trail is available for tourists to visit Tamri Kund which is involves 3-km trek which is supposed to take around 2 hours. Buses and shared cabs are available on daily basis for Munsiyari from nearby places. Tanakpur is nearest railway station is located 264 kms from Munsiyari while Pantnagar is the closest airport from the village situated at a distance of 302 kms.
