Haridwar is a place where temples are located in every corner of the city. The town's name is an amalgamation of two words, Hari (meaning God) and Dwar (Gate). It is another religious site in Haridwar. Neeleshwar Temple Haridwar is located just 500m from Har Ki Pauri near the Kushavarta Ghat. Neeleshwar Temple, dedicated to Hindu God Shiva, is a small but very old temple in Haridwar. A source stream of Ganga flows down near the temple and it is known as Neeldhara.
It is believed that reciting the Maha Mritunjaya Mantra is an auspicious and powerful method of self-realization. It helps in the removal of evil effects and gives freedom from all kinds of fears, illnesses, and negativity. This mantra is also famous as the Moksha Mantra of Lord Shiva, chanting of Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra is said to create divine vibrations that heal.
It is a two-storied temple which is made up of the yellow stones brought from Jaisalmer. This temple is famous for its art design and the huge temple campus. The idol of Moolnayak Bhagwan Shri Chintamani Parshwanath is in the center hall. Bhagwan Shri Shantinath and Shri Neminath idols are also placed in the same hall.

There are not many temples of Anjana Devi (mother of Lord Hanuman) in India. The temple is situated near Chandi Devi Temple. Both temples are situated on the Shivalik Mountains and are 100 meters apart. You can get a view of holy river Ganges from the temple as well.
The Sati Kund located at Kankhal. The Kankhal region has a number of other mythological sites for travelers to visit. Sati Kund, which commemorated the death of Sati, is one of the most visited places here. The place finds its mention as Kanakhala in the holy scriptures of the Hindus including the Vayu Purana and the Mahabharata.
