Taluka is a small picturesque hamlet located at a distance of 12 kms through drive or trek from Sankri. It lies on the way of Hark ki Dun trek.

Taluka is located just 12 kms from Sankri. Though Sankri is connected to Taluka with a motorable road, buses and taxis from Delhi and major cities of Uttarakhand cover the distance till Sankri. From Sankri you can either book a vehicle or trek up to Taluka.
Buses from Dehradun leave for Sankri early in the morning. The distance from Dehradun to Sankri is 200km. If you miss the bus, you can take buses for Mori or Purola and then take a private/shared taxi to Sankri.
