Day 1: Dehradun to Sankri Drive (1920m)
Distance: 210km, 7-8 hrs Drive
Travel from Dehradun to Sankri through the Yamuna and Tons River valley. Crossing the Yamuna Bridge-Nainbagh-Nowgaon-Purola-Jarmola-Mori-Netwar-Sankri.
Day 2: Sankri to Juda Ka Talab (2700m)
Distance: 5km (by trek), 4 to 5 hrs
With a number of waterfalls on the way a 4 to 5 hrs trek till Juda ka Tal. The trail passes through dense Pine forest, Maple trees and a few streams and finally the serene Juda ka Tal arrives.
Day 3: Juda Ka Tal to Kedarkantha (3400m)
Distance: 4km, 3 to 4 hrs trek
Through the steep climb of Baniya Thatch, you will reach at Kedarkantha from where you will view various Himalayan peaks like Bandarpoonch, Swargarohini, Kala Naag and Rangala.
Day 4: Kedarkantha Peak Summit (3812m) to Dunda Thatch (12506ft)
Distance: 7km, 4 to 5 hrs
The gradual ascent to Dunda Thatch which offers an excellent view of snow-covered mountains and various waterfalls of the region, it is a sight to relish.
Day 5: Dunda Thatch to Pustara Thatch (3500m)
Distance: 9km, 5 to 6 hrs
While walking towards the Pustara thatch you will find a temple with idols of lord ganesha, Shiva and Parvati. The summit is a 5 minute climb from the shrine.
Day 6: Pustara to Saru Tal (4200m)
Distance: 10km, 5 to 6 hrs by trek
The trek is mostly a ridge and meadow walk offering the ecstatic view of the Gangotri Peak, Swaragrohini, Kalanaag and Banderpooch in a distance.
Day 7: Saru Tal to Pustara
Distance: 10km, 5 to 6 hrs
Day 8: Pustara to Dunda Thatch/Lama Thatch (3500m)
Distance:10km, 4 to 5 hrs
Day 9: Dunda Thatch to Sankri
Distance: 6km
Day 10: Sankri to Dehradun
