It is also popularly known as Tapkeshwar Mandir. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Special poojas are held on the occasion of Shivratri & Sawan. Tapkeshwar is also well known for the Shivratri fair. This beautiful temple is made by digging caves inside the rocky Mountain where Shivlinga is placed. The historical fact that Shri Guru Ram Rai Ji, the eldest son of the Seventh Sikh Guru Har Rai Ji, set up his "dera" in 1676. This "Dera" later on became Dehardun. It is commonly believed that visitng all four Siddhs in a single day will fulfill a devotee's wishes.
