Regional Science Centre in Dehradun is a newly created science park that educates as well as entertains visitors especially children. The science park includes Dinosaurs Park, a Himalayan gallery, a 3D theatre, a library, a 200-seater auditorium and an exhibition hall.

Some the popular science exhibits at the Centre are ‘Gravity Chair’, ‘Whispering Garden’, ‘Musical Bar’, ‘Sympathetic Swing’, ‘Birding Cage’, ‘Eco Tube’ and ‘Perspective House’.
It also showcases important concepts like nuclear power generation; cloud computing, robotics, carbon-nano tubes and graphene to name a few. A planetarium known as Taramandal is also set to be operational where visitors could observe the night sky.

Regional Science Center is located in In Dehradun ( Vigyan Dham, Jhjara, Premnagar).
Regional Science Centre could be easily reached by visitors as it is located inside the premise of Uttarakhand State Council for Science & Technology, Vigyan Dham, near Premnagar. It is located 13 kms from the Clock Tower and can be easily reached via bus or shared autos (Vikram). Dehradun railway station is located at a distance of 13 kms while Jolly Grant is the nearest airport (43 kms).
