From 1st to 20th Aug it is peak season hence do make your arrangements in advance if traveling during this time.

9. Sikh Pilgrimage Hemkund Sahib Gurudwara

Hemkund Sahib Gurudwara is one of the holiest places of worship of Sikhs. The calm and peace of the gurudwara along with the delicious Guru Prasad caters soothingly to the tired body of the trekkers. From Ghangaria, the trek towards the Valley of Flowers splits into two routes, one goes towards Hemkund Sahib Gurudwara and the other towards Valley of Flowers. The deviation towards the gurudwara is worth taking as the trek is incomplete without visiting the gurudwara. Hemkund is one of the most beautiful lakes in Uttarakhand.
