Ransi Stadium perched at an astounding altitude of 7000 feet above sea level is the second highest stadium in Asia. The stadium is located at a distance of 2.5 km from the town and is one of the highest points in Pauri where games and tournaments are held frequently. As per some rumours, the name of Ransi Stadium will be changed to Shaheed Jaswant Singh Rawat Stadium, after the war hero of 1962 Indo-China War Late Shaheed Rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat. The final confirmation from the Govt authorities are awaited.
