Pulga Village in Kasol

Pulga is a small village situated in Parvati Valley. It is located at an altitude of 2,210m above sea level. Pulga is popularly known as Fairy Forest, is quite secluded from the rest of the state, and is still untouched by modern facilities making it a perfect setting to spend some cozy time trying to reconnect with oneself in solitude. This small village in Parvati Valley has an amazing view with lofty mountains, forests, tea plantations, and wooden houses that will create a magical ambiance for you.

Pulga is unexpectedly colorful Bright colored houses outnumber the traditional mud-and-wood ones, and much to my delight, there was an abundance of graffiti. Pulga is known for its traditional wooden houses and visitors often get to engage with locals. It also has several guesthouses and cafes.

Pulga village in Himachal Pradesh is referred to as one of the most beautiful villages in India. This village has recently become a hub for backpackers and trekkers across India. Kalga, Pulga, and Tulga are all located between the two, a short distance from each other, but on the opposite side of the river.

Pulga Village is about 3km from Barshaini and it can be reached in about 15 minutes on foot. Barshaini is about 20.1km from Kasol and can be reached via car/cab (fares vary) in approximately 1 hour 10 minutes.
