Khirsu: Khirsu is situated 15 kms from Pauri at an altitude of 1700mts above sea levelat a tranquil place with numerous oak trees, deodar trees and apple orchards around. Located in the Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand state, Khirsu affords captivating views of the imposing Himalayan range.

Lakshman temple at Deval GaonThere is a thousand year old Lakshman temple, just fifteen minutes drive from Pauri. The temple is located in a small Himalayan village, Deval near Kot block of Pauri. This grey stone architecture and the short height of the temple tells the age of the stories. Legends says that it was built on its own by nature. Along with main temple there are several identical but small in size temples also makes it attractive.

Sita Mata Temple at Phalswari: A sacred temple of Goddess Sita , wife of Lord Rama is known to be the only temple of Mata Sita. Located at 15 kms from Pauri town, Sita Mata Fair is organized every year in May month when a small rock comes out from nearby land. People from far away places comes to see this miracle and believed that this rock as Sita Mata. Legends says that on this place Sita Mata went under the earth. After three days small rock again goes back to the earth and marks the end of fair. Nearby, there is also a Valmiki temple above Kotsada village.

Bhuvaneshwari Devi Temple: A holy temple at the top of the hill, Bhuvaneshwari Devi temple is a sacred place for many devotees. This temple is located near Kotsada village of Pauri District (15 km from Pauri town). A spectacular views of Garhwal hills can be seen from the temple. On the occassion of Navratri, a big fair is organized by the temple authority. A small traditional school based on Guru-Shishya methodology is also running at the temple.
