Places to See in Kasauli

Monkey point: Monkey point is the highest point of the town and is one of the most famous attractions of Kasauli. It offers a bird's eye view of the nearby cities of Chandigarh, Kalka, Panchkula and Sutlej river from this point. It has a small temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman that remains crowded with monkeys.

Mall Road Kasauli: The Mall Road in Kasauli is an ideal for both shopaholics and foodies, it is amongst the best places to visit in Kasauli in summer and even in winter. This is a much loved exception to the otherwise quiet Kasauli.

Gilbert Trail: Gilbert Trail is one of the most beautiful and the best places to visit in Kasauli. It is surrounded by greenery on both the sides, it is a 1.5 km long stone walkway that will begin from the Lover’s Lane and lead you straight into the lap of nature. Gurkha Fort: Gurkha Fort is located at the uphills in the Parwanoo region in the town of Subathu, this fort is one of the most spectacular places to go in Kasauli. It houses 180-year old canons that were used during the Gurkha wars and has ancient frescoes on its walls.

Kasauli Brewery: Kasauli Brewery was established by Edward Dyer in the 1820’s, this is one of the oldest distilleries for scotch whiskey in Asia. Feel free to sit here and enjoy a glass of drink with your loved ones till late in the evening.

Timber Trail: Timber Trail is Spread over two mighty hills, the resort is situated in Parwanoo, about a 40 km distance from Kasauli. Covering about 2 km in less than 10 minutes, the cable car has a capacity to carry about 10-12 people from the resort premises over to the Timber Hill Heights, a great spot for viewing the sunset.
