Berin Nag Temple: Bering Nag Temple is the main attraction of this place. It is is also the most famous religious temple in Chitkul, Sangla. It is dedicated to God Jagas who is known as Lord Shiva. Bering Nag Temple is the Local Deity temple which is located at the heart of this village.
Kamru Fort: Kamru Fort is situated at an elevation of 2600 m above sea level and 2 km away from Sangla Valley. It is one of the top places to see in Chitkul. You can also find Badrinath Temple in Kamru Fort. A large number of visitors come to Chitkul only because of this fort.
Batseri Village: Batseri Village is located on the left of the River Baspa. It is surrounded by palm trees and deodar trees, The village is a good place to buy artefacts and local handicrafts. You can also buy locally famous items like handmade shawls and Kinnauri caps.
Tibetian Wood Carving Centre: Tibetian Wood Carving Centre is the most famous sightseeing place to visit in Chitkul. In Tibetan style, you can able to find the particular object made from wood with the complex carvings. This is the best destination for shopaholics, where they can able to find suitable products. Wood products based on the Tibetan style are the main highlight of this process.
Baspa River: Baspa River begins from the Baspa Hills and later merges with River Sutlej, it is a home to the locals of Tibetan culture. The river happens to be a favourite spot for anglers' since fishes of great variety is found here.
Chitkul Fort: Chitkul Fort is situated a little ahead of the Mathi Devi temple. It is also an tallest building in the town which looks more like a watchtower actually. It is also a shrine but I think it is referred to as fort or ‘quila’ due to its tower-like structure.
Mathi Temple: Mathi Temple is dedicated to goddess Shri Mathi, who is the local goddess of the people of Chitkul. The temple is said to be about 500 years old. The beautiful temple consists of the goddess made up of walnut wood and covered with clothes and decorated by a tuft of the tail of yak.
Hydro Flour Mill: Hydro power flour mill is one of the best places to see in Chitkul. It is used by the villagers who are very proud to have it. It has been created in a small settlement and hydro power is used to operate the flour mill.
Kinner Kailash: Kinner Kailash is popularly known as the parbat (mountain) of Lord Shiva and it is situated at a height of 6,500 meters above sea level. Kinner Kailash is surrounded by gushing rivers, breathtaking valleys, beautiful villages, lush green orchards, and majestic mountains.
Akhri Dhaba: The Last Dhaba of India “Akhri Dhaba“ is located on the banks of the Baspa river near the India-China Border. It has been located at an altitude of 3500 m. This is the last dhaba before border so it is named like this. You can get food here at affordable prices.
Buddhist Monastery: If you're planning a trip to Chitkul, don't forget to stop by Brelengi Gompa. This is the most famous and beautiful monastery near Sangla that you can visit. It is close to Reckong Peo. The wooden walls and roof are examples of adorable Tibetan culture, and many visitors come here each year to experience it.
