Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary: It is the home of 200 species of bird, Barking Deer, Himalayan bear, leopard, fox, musk deer, langur, porcupine, flying squirrel, chital, jungle cat, etc. Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary is dense but due to its small size and animals are easy to spot. Spread over an area of 47.79square kilometers, it was established in the year 1988. Pine, oak, and rhododendron trees are found in abundance at the Binsar Wildlife sanctuary.

Khali EstateThere is an estate near Binsar called Khali estate, it was once the home of Sir Henry Ramsay, who was the commissioner of Kumaun from 1856 to 1884 and popularly called by British authors as "King of Kumaon".
