Pantnagar Airport

There is a plan to expand the airstrip to 7000 ft in length and 45 m in width so that big aircraft like Airbus and Boeing can also be operated from the Airport. From June 16, 2015 Air India replaced the older 42-seater ATR-42 with new French made ATR-72 with a view to handle the increased inflow of the passengers.
