Now there is a new entry gate for Corbett National Park which is named Pakhro gate which is situated in the Sonanadi zone. Visitors can enter it from the Pakhro entry gate. Sonanadi Zone is blessed with the amazing beauty of flora and fauna. Animals like Elephant, Tiger, and leopards are some that you can see in the zone. Sonanadi means the river of gold, which comes under Corbett Tiger Reserve has three types of government forest rest houses available to make tourists stay a memorable one - Saneh, Kolhuchaur, Pakhro, Moreghatti, etc. Besides this, you can book a private rest house, hotels at Kotdwar.
Jungle Safari at Pakhro Range Corbett Tiger Reserve
It is 2-3 hours safari by Jeep, in which you can experience the Jungle of this side of Corbett. Pakhro zone is famous for the Tigers, Leopards, elephant, and many more wild animals. Jeep safaris are the main transport options around the reserve.
