Send Enquiry for Tour PackagesThe temple is dedicated to Nag Devta and can be reached by trekking 1 km uphill from Saari village towards Devariya Tal. The temple architecture resembles the other famous temples in Uttarakhand such as Kedarnath and Tungnath in terms of mandap and garbhgriha. Inside the sanctum sanctorum, there is a lingam with a copper coiled around it which resembles a Naag (snake).
One striking feature of the temple is when water is poured over the lingam; it drips down in the wave-form resembling a snake. The face of the temple is towards the Tungnath temple.
Omkar Ratneshwar Mahadev is located in Sari village near Ukhimath ( About half K.m uphill trek from Sari village, enroute Deoriya Tal).
Devariya Nag Temple can be reached by an easy 900 metre trek from Saari village which is located on Ukhimath - Gopeshwar road. The enchanted Deoria Tal is situated further 1km uphill from the temple. Visitors can easily find a bus or a shared cab from Ukhimath or Gopeshwar towards Saari village. Nearest railway station to Devariya Nag Temple is located in Rishikesh, some 190 kms away while Jolly Grant in Dehradun is the nearest airport located 207 kms from Saari village.
