From Kedarnath to Auli, Dhanaulti to Mussoorie, the first snowfall of the season has occurred. Light snowfall started in the high altitude areas of the state from Sunday evening. The first snowfall of the season occurred on Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, Yamunotri, Harshil, Chopta, Tungnath, Suki Top, Auli and Mussoorie and other peaks.

This highway, approved by the Ministry of Environment, will relieve congestion in Dehradun and provide a smoother route for tourists from Delhi, Chandigarh, and Himachal. In its first phase, a four-lane road will link Asharodi to Jhajhra.
The District Magistrate of Dehradun has directed the launch of shuttle buses in Mussoorie, with a focus on reviving the Kincraig Parking facility. The shuttle bus service will run from Kincraig Parking to Picture Palace and Gandhi Chowk, initially operating two buses within a 2 km radius. This service offers an affordable transportation option for tourists exploring Mussoorie.
