We just returned from a week-long stay in Mussoorie, and it’s such a charming Himalayan town with a lively bazaar and great hiking spots. We had some fantastic meals at a few restaurants without any issues. Kalsang's is a Tibetan place with a variety of Tibetan and Chinese dishes – the momos and thenthuk are a must-try. There are many options for Indian and Chinese food and they have clean restrooms too.. Green Veg is an ideal option for veg lovers ..
My family had a wonderful family trip in Mussoorie in October 2024. We spent 3-4 days exploring the beautiful hill station and visiting places like Kempty Falls and Gun Hill. We had a great time with activities like boating, trekking, and a cable car ride. The tour operator was very helpful and made sure everything went smoothly. It was the perfect family holiday trip for us !
Beware of Peak season or weekend traffic. We stuck for almost 3 hrs on Dehradun Mussoorie road. No parking space and narrow roads in town. Even hotels tariff suddenly increases on seeing traffic. Apart from that, climate and places in mussoorie are good to visit.
