Marinda Tal (also known as Morinda Tal) is a beautiful high altitude lake which can be explored after reaching Har Ki Dun valley. Maninda Tal, located at an altitude of about 3,970mts looks gorgeous with Swargarohini peak overlooking it in the background. In the peak season, one can find countless Brahma Kamal around the lake. The views provide a sense of peace and are also a gem for photography enthusiasts.

Marinda Tal is located in In Govind Wildlife Sanctuary ( 3 km ahead of Har-Ki-Dun Valley, 31 km trek from Taluka village).
The starting point for the trek to this valley is Sankri which is well settled village with all the facilities for tourists like Hotels, home-stay, restaurants, Gear shops and more. Direct morning buses to this village is available from Dehradun railway station to Sankri. From Sankri you can take sharable jeep to Taluka which is 12 km from Sankri from where trek route starts. After reaching to Har ki Doon valley via Osla village one can reach to Morinda Tal by a short trek of 3 km.
