The temple enshrines the idols of Lord Shiva, Goddess Parvati, Ganpati, Kartikeya, Lord Rama, Goddess Sita and Lakshman. The devotees have to cross the thick woodlands and the stairway will lead you to the temple. It is believed that Adi Shankaracharya who was the founder of Advaita Vedanta built the temple.
