The Kellog’s Memorial Church was also the home of the Landour Language School where the British used to learn Hindi while they were ruling India. The Church was named for Rev, Dr. Samuel H Kellogg (1839-1899). He was an American Presbyterian missionary and was very active in Landour. He was a great scholar, in 19th century he wrote the best book of Hindi grammar in English for the better understanding of the language for the Britishers.
The Kellogg’s Church is a depiction of the Presbyterian style of architecture. It has magnificent gothic styles architecture with a number of glass stained windows.
