The Mandini valley is located in the Garhwal Himalayas in Rudraprayag District. It comes under the Kedarnath wildlife santuary. It can be reached from Ransi village by trek. Ransi is just 20 kms by road from Ukhimath. Ransi is also the trekking base of Madmaheshwar temple as well (one of the Panch Kedars).
