How to Reach Ladakh

By Air: The Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport in Leh is the primary airport. It is well-connected with cities like Delhi, Srinagar, and Jammu. Flights operate year-round but can be affected by weather conditions.

By Train: The nearest railway station is Jammu Tawi, approximately 700 km from Leh. Travelers must combine rail and road journeys to reach Ladakh.

Ladakh By Road (two options)

  • From Manali: The Manali-Leh Highway (474 km) is a popular route, open from May to October. This route offers incredible views and includes the Rohtang Pass and Baralacha La.
  • From Srinagar: The Srinagar-Leh Highway (434 km) is another scenic option, open from April to November. This route passes through Zoji La and Kargil.
