The sparkling Deoria Tal Lake is situated near Ukhimath and Chopta. A short 3 km trek uphill from Sari village will take you this picturesque place, offering eternal bliss.
Route 1- An easy 2.5 kms trek following a rocky path from Sari village, the base camp for this trek will take you to the enchanting lake of Deoria Tal. Sari Village is located on Ukhimath - Gopeshwar road, very close to Chopta.
Route 2- There is also another trek route to Devariyatal which starts from Ukhimath having an approx. length of 12 km. This route passes through the dense forests and the meandering meadows.
By Road: Buses and shareable Tata Sumos are easily available to Ukhimath from Dehradun, Haridwar, and Rishikesh. One needs to drive 12 km to Sari village from Ukhimath. On reaching Sari village, a short 3 km trek will take you to Deoria Tal. Sharable Jeeps are available from Ukhimath to Sari village but they don’t have fixed timings.
