Note: Only IRCTC HeliYatra website (heliyatra.irctc.co.in) provides online helicopter ticket booking for Shri Hemkund Sahib.

Fare for Hemkund Sahib Helicopter Service
The helicopter ride from Govindghat to Ghangharia and back would cost Rs. 5560 per person without taxes. Additionally a convenience fee of Rs 354 would be charged. This makes the total cost of Hemkund Sahib Helicopter ticket to Rs. 5914 per person.
As of 17 July 2024, there is no option for booking one way Helicopter ticket for Hemkund Sahib through IRCTC website.
Every year thousands of Sikh pilgrims visit the holy shrine of Hemkund Sahib. Hemkund Sahib Gurudwara, a scenic lake in its premises and a Laxman temple near to it, these all holy places on a same place attract not only spiritual seekers but inspire travelers to visit here.
As it is situated at an astonishing height of 4,633 meters, reaching this place is not an easy task for pilgrims and mostly old souls. You have to trek on a steep height for about 15 kms which is not easy to do. After 2013 floods, the trek route to Hemkunt Sahib was damaged by the instant flood which makes travelers worry about their journey but govt. is providing direct helicopter services from Govindghat to Ghangariya. The doors of Hemkunt Sahib have been opened on the 1 of June of 2021. And heli services are now operational from the govt. end.

Recently the govt. of Uttarakhand has released the revised rates for Helicopter service to Ghangariya from Govindghat for both valleys of flowers & Hemkund sahib according to which the price has been decreased by govt. as compared to last year.
