Haridwar is unlike any place I’ve ever experienced. The Ganges there carries such a powerful, almost palpable energy that you can really feel the life force of the city and its people. The locals are incredibly warm and welcoming, and as a Bengali, we felt especially at home with the variety of Bengali restaurants available. The evening "aarti" at the ghats is mesmerizing – there’s something deeply spiritual about it that makes you feel connected to a higher power. With so many temples to explore, each with its own unique vibe, Haridwar truly felt like a divine place. I left with the feeling that God’s presence is truly alive there.
Our group of 5 families visited Haridwar on New Year’s Day, and it was a memorable experience! We spent the day exploring the ghats, watching the Ganga Aarti, and visiting temples like Mansa Devi and Chandi Devi. The atmosphere was peaceful and spiritual, and the kids enjoyed the boat ride on the Ganges. Although it was crowded, especially during the Aarti, everything was well-organized. We had a good time together, and it was a perfect way to start the new year.
Done a nice 2 Day tour to Haridwar. One of the best spiritual tour our family have with budget accommodations in Haridwar, easy to go rides across the holy city and darshan at temples with bathing ghats. Recommended to all hindu to visit once a lifetime ..
