Durga Devi Zone is the hill safari zone filled with wildlife beauty and adventure within the Corbett National Park. Located at North-Eastern side of the park, Durga Devi Range has Ramganga river and Mandal river flowing by is side. This zone is famous for sighting wild elephants and fishing at Domunda Bridge also enthral visitors. Famous Mahasheer fish can also be found in the river water of Durga Devi Range. Green forest in this range provides ample opportunity for bird watching too.

Durga Devi Zone in Corbett National Park

Tourist can stay for a night in Lohachaur Forest Rest House in the range. Visitors can take Jeep and elephant safari to enjoy wildlife ride Durga Devi Range as pre-booking facility is available for a Safari in Durga Devi Range. All bookings will be done at Ramnagar office. Durga Devi Zone is open for visitors 15 October to 15 June and closed for monsoon. Only two safari are operated during a day in Durga Devi zone.

Jeep Safari in Durgadevi Zone

Entry gate to Durgadevi zone is situated at a distance of 30 kms from Ramnagar. This ecotourism zone is located on a hilly slope and has several rivulets and rivers crossing the area. This zone is famous for Mahasheer fishes and birds watching.

Durga Devi is well connected by road and visitors can book a Safari from Ramnagar office of Park authorities of Corbett National Park. Nearest rail connectivity is at Ramnagar Railway Station, 28 kms and airport at Pantnagar airport or Delhi IGI airport.
