During my summer visit to Dhanaulti in 2024, I was amazed by how much quieter it was compared to Mussoorie, offering a peaceful escape. The drive from Mussoorie to Dhanaulti was breathtaking, with panoramic mountain views and lush landscapes that were especially beautiful. One of the highlights of Dhanaulti is the Eco Park, which has an entry fee of Rs. 50. While the park, with its tall pine trees and tranquil atmosphere, is great for a walk and some photos, it might not be a must-see if you're short on time. You can still fully enjoy the area’s charm without visiting the park.
I went to Dhanaulti with my friends to celebrate New Year's eve in 2024, and we had an amazing time! We spent 2 days enjoying the snow and exploring nearby places. We did fun activities like trekking and playing in the snow. Although there was some traffic jam due to the overcrowding, the tour operator was great, and the hotel we stayed at was really comfortable. It was a perfect trip for making memories with friends!
Chilly nights and warm days are really enjoyable in Dhanaulti within a natural peacefulness. There are not much premium properties, but affordable and comfortable stay options are numerous. Ask for room heater in advance if travelling in winters as nights are very cold there.
Quite good hill station, not much hyped as Mussuri. We stayed at deluxe hotel near the main road, enjoyed adventure activities too. Dhanolty is nice hill station for families ..
