Deoria Tal also spelled as ‘Devaria’ or ‘Deoriya’ is a pristine lake located about 3 km atop a hill from the villages of Mastura and Sari, on Ukhimath–Chopta road in Uttarakhand. The lake is situated at an altitude of 2,438 metres in Rudraprayagdistrict of Uttarakhand state.
Deoria Tal is surrounded by verdant forests and offers refreshing views of snow-clad peaks at the backdrop. One can see the reflection of the majestic Chaukhamba on the crystal clear waters of the lake which is an awe-inspiring sight indeed.
