This trekking trail is covered with a dense forest of fir and deodars. The woods, gently squeeze the trail and there will be times when you will be walking over, or between fallen trees. After reaching the top of Dainkund Peak visit Pholani Mata Temple and relax with the beautiful scenery.
Dainkund peak trek is the perfect trek for those who want to spend some time in Himalayan trails with a thrilling experience. The peak gets very cold sometimes so it is advised to carry warm clothes, jackets, and gloves. If you visit during the winter months then there is a high chance of finding snow, so make sure you have proper shoes.
The best time to visit Dainkund Peak Trek is during the months of March and May, June and October as the weather are most suitable during these months. We suggest you avoid trekking here in the monsoon.
Day 1: Dalhousie to Lakkad Mandi to Dainkund Peak
Arrive at Dalhousie, drive to Lakkad Mandi which is situated 9 km from Dalhousie. After reaching Lakkad Mandi, start trek to Dainkund Peak which is the highest peak in Dalhousie. Visit Phoolani Devi temple at the top and explore the beauty of Dainkund peak. Trek back to Lakka Mandi, Dinner and overnight stay at Lakka Mandi.
Day 2: Departure
After breakfast, its time to drive back to Dalhousie. After reaching Dalhousie, our services will be finished at Dalhousie.
