Chin/Cheend or Cheen waterfall is one of the most enthralling waterfalls of the Uttarakhand. Situated in a small village called Garaun of Kumaon region, this giant waterfall is cocooned in the midst of dense pine forest. The height of this waterfall is about 160 ft.

The mythology of Chineshwar Waterfall

According to locals myths and mythologies as said by locals, there is a hidden temple of Lord Shiva behind the waterfall and crossing the flow of water to reach that temple is very hard. 

This tourist attraction is also known as Chineshwar. You can find this name in most of the local newspapers about this destination. Tourists who visit Berinag and Chaukori can include this location in their travel plan to make their trip memorable.
