According to Hindu mythology, this was the place from where the Pandavas started their journey to heaven called Swargarohini. During this journey, Draupadi was unable to cross the river then Beema lifted a huge rock and placed it between the gorge. Later on, it was known as Bheem Pul. This bridge is located opposite to Vyas Gufa in Mana Village and offers an enchanting view of the pristine valley.

Bheem Pul is located near Mana village, just 3 kms from the holy shrine of Badrinath. One can easily reach Bheem Pul by walking towards Mana village from Badrinath via NH 58. One will come across Vyas Gufa when traversing through the village. At the end of the village; a big boulder over a rivulet can be seen. That giant boulder is the famous Bheem Pul of Mahabharata fame.
