Badrinath ji is definitely a place one should visit atleast once in his lifetime. It felt immense peace. Also the alaknanda river flowing near the temple adds upto the divinity of the place. If you are a avid trekker, you can also visit vashudhara fall.
I visited Badrinath with my family, and it was a deeply spiritual experience. The temple has a unique charm, and the surrounding scenery is breathtaking. However, the cold can be quite intense, so be sure to pack warm clothes. The local food was delicious, especially the prasad at the temple. Overall, a very fulfilling pilgrimage.
We traveled to Badrinath from Guptkashi, and the journey took the entire day. By the time we reached Badrinath, it was around 8:00 PM. The ascent from Joshimath to Badrinath was quite challenging, as the roads had been damaged by heavy rains a few days earlier. Despite arriving in the evening, we were able to have darshan the same day. The winter season meant there wasn’t much of a crowd, but the temperature was freezing.Nearby, we visited important sites like Brahma Kapal and the Tapt Kund hot water spring. We also explored Mana Village, known as the last village of India, which has many significant places to see. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and with this visit, we completed the Char Dham Yatra of Uttarakhand.
It was a chilly 7 degrees, raining, and the queue was long, but in the end, it was all worth it when I was blessed with the chance to have darshan of the supreme lord. I was moved to tears by the experience. Be sure to carry warm clothing, rain gear, and sturdy shoes. Despite the large crowd, the temple management was efficient, and the atmosphere remained calm and organized.
Visiting the temple amidst the beautiful scenery was a pleasant experience. The temple’s colorful exterior and impressive architecture stood out. We visited on a Thursday in June, and the entire process, from entry to exit, took us about five hours. Unfortunately, the management was lacking, with very few staff to handle the long queues. While there were many pilgrims, the waiting time could have been reduced if people didn't cut in line. This issue needs to be addressed by the local management to ensure a better experience for all pilgrims.
This is one of the most popular temple of God Vishnu. Adi Guru Shankaracharya established this temple in 9th centuries. This temple opened 6 months every year. Everyday lots of people visiting this temple. Temple daily opened at 4 AM and closed at 11 PM. Prasad available near the temple. Lots of hotel available for home stay. Also, you can find lots of restaurants here. Highly recommended to visit
An amazing, peaceful, and serene place—Shri Badri Narayana Temple. I visited in the second week of October 2023. It was rainy and cold, with temperatures dropping to -3°C. Despite the weather, the darshan of Shri Badri Narayana and the other activities went smoothly, making it a truly memorable experience.
The journey to Badrinath was tough but rewarding. The roads are narrow and winding, but the views of the Himalayas are spectacular. The temple itself is stunning, with its vibrant colors and intricate carvings.
My visit to Badrinath Temple was an enchanting experience. The temple offers not only spiritual fulfillment but also stunning natural beauty. The journey through the Himalayas was filled with scenic vistas that kept us captivated. Upon arrival, the sight of the temple against the backdrop of the towering Neelkanth Peak was awe-inspiring. I visited during the October month.. next time I will plan to visit Badrinath during summers.
