My parents' long-cherished wish was finally fulfilled when we completed the Badrinath Yatra in 2024. It was an unforgettable experience that’s hard to put into words.

We visited the temple in May, which was one of the best times to go due to the pleasant weather and manageable crowds (though don’t forget to carry woollen clothes).

We began our journey from Haridwar in the morning and reached Badrinathji the next day, with a one-night halt at Rudraprayag. This break made it easier for my parents to relax and prepare for the next leg of the journey. The drive from Rudraprayag to Badrinath was scenic, with stunning views of towering mountains, winding rivers, and lush greenery. Every turn of the road seemed to unveil a new postcard-worthy sight.

On reaching Badrinath, we were greeted by the serene atmosphere and the towering Neelkanth Peak standing guard behind the temple. Visiting the Badrinath Temple was a deeply spiritual experience. The sight of the grand temple against the backdrop of peaks filled us with awe and devotion. Despite the crowd, the arrangements were well-organized, and we were able to have a smooth darshan.

My parents were overjoyed, their faces glowing with gratitude and happiness. After the darshan, we explored nearby attractions, such as Tapt Kund, the hot water spring believed to have therapeutic properties. The Mana village, India’s last village near the Tibetan border, was another highlight of the trip. Its quaint charm and the folklore surrounding the Bhim Pul added a sense of wonder to our journey.

Overall, this Yatra was not just a religious journey but also an opportunity to reconnect with nature and spend quality time with family. It’s a trip we’ll cherish forever, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a spiritual and serene escape.

In May 2022, my family and I had the wonderful opportunity to visit Badrinath. During our trip, we learned from some Jain pilgrims that the area is also considered the site of Adinath Bhagwan, located at Ashtapad. We decided to visit both Ashtapad and Badrinath for darshan. The Badrinath temple itself is vast, sprawling across a large area, and the experience was truly awe-inspiring.Despite the large crowds, the atmosphere remained peaceful. The cool, refreshing air of the temple site was incredibly soothing, providing a sense of calm and relaxation. People around us were chanting Vishnu Bhagwan's name, which added to the spiritual ambiance. For those interested in photography, there are plenty of photographers offering to take pictures with the stunning temple in the background. In addition to the temple, there are many other attractions nearby, making it a great place for sightseeing. If you’re into photography, it’s definitely an ideal spot. There are also several hotels and lodges available for visitors, including foreign tourists, making it convenient for everyone to stay. The beauty and serenity of Badrinath left a lasting impression on me, and I hope to visit again someday. It was truly a memorable experience!

It was an incredible journey and a truly amazing Yatra! I received immense support from the local people throughout the trip. My mother, who is 84 and uses a wheelchair, was a concern for me, and I was unsure what would happen if anything went wrong. Despite the challenging weather and landslides, we were fortunate to reach Badrinath safely. October is a good time to visit, as the weather is generally stable, according to the locals. However, it can get quite cold, so if your loved one is not accustomed to the cold, be sure to take extra precautions to keep them warm. Warm inner clothing is highly recommended for the Yatra in October. It was a truly divine experience, and I’m grateful for the assistance we received that made the journey possible.

Visiting Badri Vishal always gives me a unique feeling like meditation. This was my 3rd visit, and I plan to keep coming back. Over the past 5-7 years, the number of people visiting has grown a lot, and so have the accommodation options. Despite the crowds, the temple still maintains a special purity that’s hard to find in many busy temples. Thankfully, the priests did not pressure us to pay extra to skip the 'darshan' lines. Now there is provision of VIP darshan, special pooja/ darshan and all ..After badrinath temple, trip to Mana has become an important part of the visit in recent years, and it was just as fulfilling this time.Although visit to 'Shesh Netra Sheela'was a bit disappointing as it was not well maintained. Authorities should take care of it as well.

We group of family members visited badrinath for Pitra tarpan in OCt last of 2024. The stay was good and not very much high. Although it was going to be end of yatra season, the inflow of pilgrims was much high. We have to wait for 2 hours in line to take darshan. Later on we got to know the Puja booking process which would make Puja and darshan fast.

The hotel room was disgusting with not proper cleanliness and food taste worst. The long line and hours waiting for Lord Badrivishal darshan make my whole family faded and tiresome. Authorities were not helping any manner ..

My long awaited wish came true when I visited Badrinath dham this October. The divine place was much better than I had imagined. It didn't took us much time for the darshan as the queue wasn't as long as we had expected. The temple is really beautiful especially during the night lights. The nights were colder though and we were wearing heavy woolens. There are enough places near Badrinath to keep you occupied for 2-3 days. Bheem pul and Mana village are worth visiting. Hoping to visit back soon.

Badrinath ji is definitely a place one should visit atleast once in his lifetime. It felt immense peace. Also the alaknanda river flowing near the temple adds upto the divinity of the place. If you are a avid trekker, you can also visit vashudhara fall.

I visited Badrinath with my family, and it was a deeply spiritual experience. The temple has a unique charm, and the surrounding scenery is breathtaking. However, the cold can be quite intense, so be sure to pack warm clothes. The local food was delicious, especially the prasad at the temple. Overall, a very fulfilling pilgrimage.

We traveled to Badrinath from Guptkashi, and the journey took the entire day. By the time we reached Badrinath, it was around 8:00 PM. The ascent from Joshimath to Badrinath was quite challenging, as the roads had been damaged by heavy rains a few days earlier. Despite arriving in the evening, we were able to have darshan the same day. The winter season meant there wasn’t much of a crowd, but the temperature was freezing.Nearby, we visited important sites like Brahma Kapal and the Tapt Kund hot water spring. We also explored Mana Village, known as the last village of India, which has many significant places to see. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and with this visit, we completed the Char Dham Yatra of Uttarakhand.

It was a chilly 7 degrees, raining, and the queue was long, but in the end, it was all worth it when I was blessed with the chance to have darshan of the supreme lord. I was moved to tears by the experience. Be sure to carry warm clothing, rain gear, and sturdy shoes. Despite the large crowd, the temple management was efficient, and the atmosphere remained calm and organized.

Visiting the temple amidst the beautiful scenery was a pleasant experience. The temple’s colorful exterior and impressive architecture stood out. We visited on a Thursday in June, and the entire process, from entry to exit, took us about five hours. Unfortunately, the management was lacking, with very few staff to handle the long queues. While there were many pilgrims, the waiting time could have been reduced if people didn't cut in line. This issue needs to be addressed by the local management to ensure a better experience for all pilgrims.

This is one of the most popular temple of God Vishnu. Adi Guru Shankaracharya established this temple in 9th centuries. This temple opened 6 months every year. Everyday lots of people visiting this temple. Temple daily opened at 4 AM and closed at 11 PM. Prasad available near the temple. Lots of hotel available for home stay. Also, you can find lots of restaurants here. Highly recommended to visit

An amazing, peaceful, and serene place—Shri Badri Narayana Temple. I visited in the second week of October 2023. It was rainy and cold, with temperatures dropping to -3°C. Despite the weather, the darshan of Shri Badri Narayana and the other activities went smoothly, making it a truly memorable experience.

The journey to Badrinath was tough but rewarding. The roads are narrow and winding, but the views of the Himalayas are spectacular. The temple itself is stunning, with its vibrant colors and intricate carvings.

My visit to Badrinath Temple was an enchanting experience. The temple offers not only spiritual fulfillment but also stunning natural beauty. The journey through the Himalayas was filled with scenic vistas that kept us captivated. Upon arrival, the sight of the temple against the backdrop of the towering Neelkanth Peak was awe-inspiring. I visited during the October month.. next time I will plan to visit Badrinath during summers.
