The Arjuneshwar temple is a famous Lord Shiva temple in Pithoragarh town. It is believed that the temple is built by Arjun- one of the Pandavas and a supreme archer. This religious site is perched at 6000 feet above the sea level. There are many center off attractions at this destination like Laxminarayan temple and Shivalaya in the town and Shiva, Hanuman, Chatkeshwar, Gurna Devi and Igyara devi around the town.

By Air: Nearest airport is Pantnagar airport (241 kms). You can hire a cab to cover this distance as it is easily available.
