Preparing for the Dark - Since electricity hasn't reached the village, the Petromax "Panchlight" is used to lighten the nights.

The SatyaNarayan puja starts in the evening and continues till night. The whole village and friends and relatives from the nearby villages are also invited for the puja. After the puja is over and the "prasad" distributed, the common meal "preeti-bhooj" is organised.
