The local deity or Gram-Devta have an important place in the village culture. Gram Devtas are generally established in a big old tree like Devdar, Pine or Pipal tree or in small rock built place.

The villagers offering prayer to the Gram-Devta who resides in the Devdar tree admist the village.

Jaagars are also organised to please the Gram Devtas or to call the spirits.
